YOUR GUIDE IN THIS ADVENTURE
Katarina Wallentin has done some crazy things in her life: Crossing the border from El Salvador in the back of a truck. Walking red poppy-fields with talibans. Flying on a Russian airplane with as many goats and pigs, as people.
Working as a journalist and with groups like the United Nations, Amnesty International, Doctors Without Borders and Save the Children, her exploring has taken her all over the world as she sought to create something greater.
And yet, she kept desiring to go even further, to places where the old maps declared: Beware Ye Who Enter Here, Beyond Lie Dragons!
Treasuring a love of books since early childhood, she could see through the eyes of people who wrote from the creative edge of possibilities, people who were also looking for something different, something yet un-explained...
What if the world had no end? What if dragons were everywhere—and they just looked very different than we had ever imagined?
So Katarina gathered her explorer’s helmet and compass and headed out into the great unknown.
And somewhere along the road, the Big Better Best Books podcast was born, a biweekly adventure in which Katarina invites you to see magic the world over—in books, in this planet and in you.
As a certified Access Consciousness and Being You Facilitator, she also brings the ideas, tools and perspectives of this dynamic modality into the podcast...and your ears, wherever you may be listening.
In 2018, Katarina she published two children’s books – The Baby Unicorn Manifesto and Clara & the Climate Changer – and she is currently working on working on several other books, including The Baby Dragon Manifesto .
She lives in Stockholm with her 15-year-old daughter Emilia, who you can sometime hear on the Big Better Books Podcast, explaining what the bleep anime is and why fan-fiction is the best form of storytelling ever.
